Mir Mission Designation: EO-1

This first mission to Mir (EO-1) docked and the crew entered the new space station, remaining for 6 weeks. On 5 May 1986, they undocked Mir and rendezvoused with the dead Salyut 7. Repairs were made to restore heat, power, and environmental control while experiments left behind by the last Salyut crew were removed. T-15 then returned and redocked with Mir on 26 June. (Salyut 7 was never again visited).
