Barrett is a former United States ambassador to Finland and President and CEO of the Triple Creek Guest Ranch in Montana. Her husband, Craig Barrett, is Chairman of the Board for Intel Corporation. Barrett trained to fly in space as a backup to Guy Laliberté who flew aboard Soyuz-TMA 16.
